PlatiumSwaen© Flaked Wheat contains higher levels of protein and more starch than malted wheat. Especially in larger quantities you will notice a different taste, and flaked wheat adds more mouthfeel to a beer than malted wheat would do. Flaked wheat is often used in Belgian White Beer and Bavarian-style White Beers, the drier, crispier beers.
